Crepes

A very simple recipe that is delicious with any topping.

Ingredients

Preparing the mixture

  • 250g flour
  • 1/2L Milk
  • 3 eggs

Cooking

  • 1/2 teaspoon of vegetable oil

Ustensils

  • A whisk
  • A bowl or container with preferably rounded corners for the whisk to reach in

Cooking

  • A ladle
  • A pan (ideally non-stick)
  • A spatula

Recipe

Preparing the mixture

  1. Pour the flour and all the eggs in the bowl. Add around 50mL of milk. Mix with the whisk until all flour lumps have disappeared.
  2. Progressively add the rest of the milk and keep whisking.
  3. Let the mix rest in the fridge for 30 minutes. You can skip this step and go straight to the cooking phase if you are hungry.

Cooking

  1. Heat the pan on medium-high heat.
  2. Spread a little bit of oil in the pan.
  3. Use the ladle to pour the crepe batter onto the pan.
  4. Rotate the pan with your wrist so that the batter cover the whole surface.
  5. Wait for it to cook, turn the crepe around with the spatula and cook the other side.
  6. Add sugar, nutella, jam or any other topping/filling and enjoy!
