Croque Monsieur

A delicious quick snack

Ingredients

Preparing the mixture

  • 50g of butter
  • 4 slices of cooked ham
  • 4 slices of white or wheat bread
  • 8 x Cheeze slices

Ustensils

  • Non-stick pan
  • Spatula

Recipe

  1. Prepare the Croque Monsieur by stacking the ingredients: bread-cheese-ham-cheese-bread.
  2. (Optional) Tie the croque monsieur together with cooking twine.
  3. (Optional) Cut all 4 sides of the the crust away.
  4. Pour the butter in the pan and set the heat to medium.
  5. When the butter is melted, put the croque monsieur on the pan and ensure the butter is spread on both sides of each Croque Monsieur.
  6. Fry each side until colored.
